Review: Jaques of London – Wooden Noughts & Crosses (gifted)

We were kindly gifted the Jaques of London wooden toys for review, however as with all our reviews, they are all our own honest opinions.

Now there is probably no game that can compare in Lily’s mind than Noughts & Crosses, so when she received her very own wooden Noughts & Crosses game from Jaques of London, she could not have been more excited!

We recently tried out other of the beautiful wooden toys from Jaques of London , including Snakes & Ladders and 4-in-a-Row, both of which are now played daily after school.

Lily often plays Noughts & Crosses on bits of paper, so to have her own wooden game to be used again and again, it really was a fantastic surprise for her!

As well as a game to play, it would also make a stunning traditional coffee table game too!

The Wooden Noughts & Crosses game can be used for more than just normal 2D games – but 3D games too, by adding in the extra dimension through the three layers of wooden pieces.

You can win the game horizontally, vertically, or diagonally too – what a way to mix up such a fantastic game.

Lily has so much fun with this game and never wants it to end – just as you think you’ve won, you realise the other player has won in a different way, making it a fantastic challenge and so many laughs too!

We've already had hours of fun with this game
