The Easter holidays may be looking a bit different again this year, and I’m sure a year ago we weren’t expecting to be back in lockdown, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!
We’ve brought together some of our favourite virtual events, egg hunts and activities to make sure you and your family still have an amazing Easter holiday at home.
Please note, some of these brands and events we are collaborating with, however I’ve highlighted these where necessary – we were also involved with many of these last year without collaborations, so are excited to collaborate this year and would genuinely recommend them 🙂
Learning Resources UK (collab)
I don’t think we could have got through this past year without Learning Resources UK, through their virtual events, downloadable resources and fun learning activities too.
This Easter, the team have plenty up their sleeves including an Alternative Easter Gift Guide, Easter crafts, a Virtual Easter Egg Hunt and more! Big Little Tent Festival 2021 – Caravan Club (collab)
Words cannot describe how excited we are for the Big Little Tent Festival to be back for 2021 over Easter weekend thanks to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Lily had a fantastic time last year with the lovely downloadable activities and resources keeping her busy at home while our normal camping adventures are on hold.
This year, the Big Little Tent Festival will take place on April 3rd and 4th including a Zoom party to meet The Mermaid Princess and The Friendly Neighbourhood Hero for games, superhero training, and a campfire song!
Once again, they’re providing an awesome free downloadable festival pack too, packed with puzzles, games, bunting, festival wristbands and more – and if you download it, you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win two children’s Raleigh bikes worth £350 each!

Little Trekkers spring downloads (collab)
We are huge fans of Little Trekkers, and having been an ambassador for over a year now, we are proud to have tried and tested some amazing outdoor clothing which we now can’t adventure without!
The Little Trekkers team have put together some amazing free spring printables including a spring scavenger hunt and spring bucket list.
You can also check out their Nature Trail – a simple and easy scavenger hunt that you can do anywhere, and it is free to download, or save to your phone for a fun way to explore your local area.

Gloworm Festival
We are super excited to head to Gloworm Festival this year – the countdown is on! Despite massively missing the festival in 2020, the amazing team at Gloworm have done an amazing job of keeping us celebrating at home with their Gloworm at Home festival, Bookworm festival and more!
We’ve loved getting involved in their scavenger hunts, World Book Day fun, Thoresby Park Gloworm trail and more, so we know whatever they decide for Easter, it’ll be fantastic!
Details have yet to be announced for their Easter fun, but I’d keep an eye on their Facebook page where you can also replay some of their amazing DJ sets, Gloworm at Home events, Bookworm readings and more.

Let’s Go See… Stories Inspired from Life at 40,000 ft! (collab)
While we can’t go on real adventures, Let’s Go See has been a fantastic way to still help us visit some of the most incredible locations around the world with Pilot Polly and Pilot Ollie, from the comfort of our own home.
Let’s Go See is a great TV programme, App and children’s books from author and commercial pilot Robert Johnson, helping kids learn about other cultures and cities around the world.
There’s also the Let’s Go See app with a collection of activities for children with games, activities, puzzles and intuitive AR to help kids continue their journey around the world – Lily loves collecting the rewards on the App too!

My Busy Bots – activity packs & free Easter downloads
We are huge fans of the beautiful My Busy Bots – we’ve bought several activity packs, activity books and their fantastic fun folder too.
They’re such high quality fun, brightly-coloured activities, tailored to different ages, and all stored in beautiful zip pouches to be kept tidy and handy for any adventure.

Small business Easter gifts and nature activity packs
Do your kids love nature and the outdoors? Look no further – spring is a beautiful time of year to get out and explore nature, and some of our favourite small businesses have some lovely craft and activity ideas to help you do just that at home, including eco-friendly activities from the Nurture Collective, Wild Things Forest School and more.
We have been trying out the Eco-friendly Easter Activity Booklet and plantable wildflower seed paper for children from the Nurture Collective, and already know they’ll be great activities to do with the kids over Easter.

Good Play Guide – Play at Home Fest catchup
We loved the Play at Home Fest virtual festivals, both 1 and 2, with so many crafts, activities, virtual music and more from the Good Play Guide. National Space Centre
If you’re looking for something different to do at home, fun space crafts and downloadable resources from the National Space Centre can be found here. They’re a great way to keep the family busy at home without them realising they’re learning too!
Camp Bestival Sunday Club
The Camp Bestival Sunday Club is a place for families to enjoy some fun together each weekend from the awesome Camp Bestival crew.
Join the team on Facebook every Sunday for live talks, comedy, entertainment, shows, workshops & activities. If you miss out on Sunday, you can catch up any time of the week (or school holidays!) that suits you too!

National Trust Easter Adventures
Many National Trust gardens are still open for locals to walk around, however the National Trust have also put together downloadable packs for Easter Adventures in Nature, with nature-themed ideas, crafts and activities to do over Easter.
They also have plenty of ideas for family adventures, so whether or not you are able to get to a National Trust property, they’re still on hand to help you have a beautiful Easter outdoors.
For visits to properties, the National Trust website states: “In England and Northern Ireland, gardens, parks and countryside remain open for local exercise. The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors from the nearby community remains our priority and we urge you to book your visits in advance and stay local.
Please always check the property webpage of the place you wish to visit before you travel. Cafés are currently takeaway only and we’re planning to offer outdoor seating from 12 April, with inside seating available from 17 May. Shops are currently closed with some due to reopen from 12 April.”
Cadbury Worldwide Easter Egg Hunt
For something really different this year, Cadbury’s have launched the Cadbury Worldwide Hide – a virtual Easter egg hiding experience where you can hide an Easter egg anywhere in the world for someone you love.
Using Google Maps Street View, you can hide an Easter egg anywhere in the world and then share a personalised clue to help them find their egg. You can either buy one of four Cadbury Easter Eggs that the recipient will physically receive once they’ve found the egg online or you can choose to simply hide a virtual Easter egg for free for them to find.
